12.여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 이르시되 너희가 나를 믿지 아니하고 이스라엘 자손의 목전에서 내 거룩함을 나타내지 아니한 고로 너희는 이 회중을 내가 그들에게 준 땅으로 인도하여 들이지 못하리라 하시니라
23.여호와께서 에돔 땅 변경 호르 산에서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하시니라 이르시되
24.아론은 그 조상들에게로 돌아가고 내가 이스라엘 자손에게 준 땅에는 들어가지 못하리니 이는 너희가 므리바 물에서 내 말을 거역한 까닭이니라
25.너는 아론과 그의 아들 엘르아살을 데리고 호르 산에 올라
26.아론의 옷을 벗겨 그의 아들 엘르아살에게 입히라 아론은 거기서 죽어 그 조상에게로 돌아가리라
민수기 20장
1.첫째 달에 이스라엘 자손 곧 온 회중이 신 광야에 이르러 백성이 가데스에 이르더니 미리암이 거기서 죽으매 거기에 장사되니라
2.회중이 물이 없으므로 모세와 아론에게로 모여드니라
3.백성이 모세와 다투어 말하여 이르되 우리 형제들이 여호와 앞에서 죽을 때에 우리도 죽었더라면 좋을 뻔하였도다
4.너희가 어찌하여 여호와의 회중을 이 광야로 인도하여 우리와 우리 짐승이 다 여기서 죽게 하느냐
5.너희가 어찌하여 우리를 애굽에서 나오게 하여 이 나쁜 곳으로 인도하였느냐 이 곳에는 파종할 곳이 없고 무화과도 없고 포도도 없고 석류도 없고 마실 물도 없도다
6.모세와 아론이 회중 앞을 떠나 회막 문에 이르러 엎드리매 여호와의 영광이 그들에게 나타나며
7.여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되
8.지팡이를 가지고 네 형 아론과 함께 회중을 모으고 그들의 목전에서 너희는 반석에게 명령하여 물을 내라 하라 네가 그 반석이 물을 내게 하여 회중과 그들의 짐승에게 마시게 할지니라
9.모세가 그 명령대로 여호와 앞에서 지팡이를 잡으니라
10.모세와 아론이 회중을 그 반석 앞에 모으고 모세가 그들에게 이르되 반역한 너희여 들으라 우리가 너희를 위하여 이 반석에서 물을 내랴 하고
11.모세가 그의 손을 들어 그의 지팡이로 반석을 두 번 치니 물이 많이 솟아나오므로 회중과 그들의 짐승이 마시니라
12.여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 이르시되 너희가 나를 믿지 아니하고 이스라엘 자손의 목전에서 내 거룩함을 나타내지 아니한 고로 너희는 이 회중을 내가 그들에게 준 땅으로 인도하여 들이지 못하리라 하시니라
13.이스라엘 자손이 여호와와 다투었으므로 이를 므리바 물이라 하니라 여호와께서 그들 중에서 그 거룩함을 나타내셨더라
14.모세가 가데스에서 에돔 왕에게 사신을 보내며 이르되 당신의 형제 이스라엘의 말에 우리가 당한 모든 고난을 당신도 아시거니와
15.우리 조상들이 애굽으로 내려갔으므로 우리가 애굽에 오래 거주하였더니 애굽인이 우리 조상들과 우리를 학대하였으므로
16.우리가 여호와께 부르짖었더니 우리 소리를 들으시고 천사를 보내사 우리를 애굽에서 인도하여 내셨나이다 이제 우리가 당신의 변방 모퉁이 한 성읍 가데스에 있사오니
17.청하건대 우리에게 당신의 땅을 지나가게 하소서 우리가 밭으로나 포도원으로 지나가지 아니하고 우물물도 마시지 아니하고 왕의 큰길로만 지나가고 당신의 지경에서 나가기까지 왼쪽으로나 오른쪽으로나 치우치지 아니하리이다 한다고 하라 하였더니
18.에돔 왕이 대답하되 너는 우리 가운데로 지나가지 못하리라 내가 칼을 들고 나아가 너를 대적할까 하노라
19.이스라엘 자손이 이르되 우리가 큰길로만 지나가겠고 우리나 우리 짐승이 당신의 물을 마시면 그 값을 낼 것이라 우리가 도보로 지나갈 뿐인즉 아무 일도 없으리이다 하나
20.그는 이르되 너는 지나가지 못하리라 하고 에돔 왕이 많은 백성을 거느리고 나와서 강한 손으로 막으니
21.에돔 왕이 이같이 이스라엘이 그의 영토로 지나감을 용납하지 아니하므로 이스라엘이 그들에게서 돌이키니라
22.이스라엘 자손 곧 온 회중이 가데스를 떠나 호르 산에 이르렀더니
23.여호와께서 에돔 땅 변경 호르 산에서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하시니라 이르시되

29.온 회중 곧 이스라엘 온 족속이 아론이 죽은 것을 보고 그를 위하여 삼십 일 동안 애곡하였더라

Numbers 20
1 In the first month the whole Israelite community arrived at the Desert of Zin, and they stayed at Kadesh. There Miriam died and was buried.
2 Now there was no water for the community, and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron.
3 They quarreled with Moses and said, "If only we had died when our brothers fell dead before the LORD!
4 Why did you bring the LORD's community into this desert, that we and our livestock should die here?
5 Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain or figs, grapevines or pomegranates. And there is no water to drink!"
6 Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and fell facedown, and the glory of the LORD appeared to them.
7 The LORD said to Moses,
8 "Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink."
9 So Moses took the staff from the LORD's presence, just as he commanded him.
10 He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, "Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?"
11 Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank.
12 But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them."
13 These were the waters of Meribah, where the Israelites quarreled with the LORD and where he showed himself holy among them.
14 Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom, saying: "This is what your brother Israel says: You know about all the hardships that have come upon us.
15 Our forefathers went down into Egypt, and we lived there many years. The Egyptians mistreated us and our fathers,
16 but when we cried out to the LORD, he heard our cry and sent an angel and brought us out of Egypt. "Now we are here at Kadesh, a town on the edge of your territory.
17 Please let us pass through your country. We will not go through any field or vineyard, or drink water from any well. We will travel along the king's highway and not turn to the right or to the left until we have passed through your territory."
18 But Edom answered: "You may not pass through here; if you try, we will march out and attack you with the sword."
19 The Israelites replied: "We will go along the main road, and if we or our livestock drink any of your water, we will pay for it. We only want to pass through on foot--nothing else."
20 Again they answered: "You may not pass through." Then Edom came out against them with a large and powerful army.
21 Since Edom refused to let them go through their territory, Israel turned away from them.
22 The whole Israelite community set out from Kadesh and came to Mount Hor.
23 At Mount Hor, near the border of Edom, the LORD said to Moses and Aaron,
24 "Aaron will be gathered to his people. He will not enter the land I give the Israelites, because both of you rebelled against my command at the waters of Meribah.
25 Get Aaron and his son Eleazar and take them up Mount Hor.
26 Remove Aaron's garments and put them on his son Eleazar, for Aaron will be gathered to his people; he will die there."
27 Moses did as the LORD commanded: They went up Mount Hor in the sight of the whole community.
28 Moses removed Aaron's garments and put them on his son Eleazar. And Aaron died there on top of the mountain. Then Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain,
29 and when the whole community learned that Aaron had died, the entire house of Israel mourned for him thirty days.

Mga Hitabo didto sa Cades
(Exo. 17:1-7)
1 Sa unang bulan miabot ang katawhan sa Israel sa kamingawan sa Zin ug nagkampo sila didto sa Cades. Namatay didto si Miriam ug didto usab gilubong.
2 Niining higayona walay tubig didto alang sa katawhan ug tungod niini naghiusa sila batok kang Moises ug kang Aaron.
3 Ug ang katawhan nakiglalis kang Moises ug giingnan nila siya, “Maayo pag nahiapil kami sa pagkamatay sa among kaigsoonan atubangan sa Ginoo!
4 Nganong gidala mo man kami nganhi sa kamingawan? Aron ba lang mangamatay kami dinhi lakip ang among mga kahayopan?
5 Ug nganong gikuha mo man kami sa Ehipto ug gidala niining dapit nga lisod puy-an ug dili katamnag trigo o igera o paras o granada ug dinhi wala pa gayoy tubig nga among mainom?”
6 Unya miadto si Moises ug si Aaron ngadto sa pultahan sa Tolda nga Tagboanan ug mihapa sila. Ug mitungha kanila ang himaya sa Ginoo.
7 Giingnan sa Ginoo si Moises,
8 “Kuhaa ang imong sungkod nga anaa sa atubangan sa Sudlanan sa Kasabotan ug tigoma ninyo ni Aaron ang mga tawo. Sultihi kanang bato nga anaa diha ug kana mohatag ug tubig alang sa mga tawo. Niining paagiha kahatagan ninyog mainom ang mga tawo ug ang ilang kahayopan.”
9 Unya gikuha ni Moises ang sungkod sumala sa gisugo kaniya sa Ginoo.
10 Ug gitigom ni Moises ug ni Aaron ang mga tawo atubangan sa bato ug miingon siya kanila, “Pamati kamo, mga masupilon! Hatagan ba kamo namog tubig gikan niining maong bato?”
11 Unya giisa ni Moises ang iyang kamot ug gibunalan niya sa makaduha ang bato ug mibul-og gikan sa bato ang daghang tubig ug nanginom ang mga tawo ug ang ilang kahayopan.
12 Apan gibadlong sa Ginoo si Moises ug si Aaron, “Kay wala man ako tuohi ninyo aron balaanon ako sa mga tawo sa Israel, dili kamo maoy mangulo sa mga tawo ngadto sa yuta nga akong gihatag kanila!”
13 Kini mao ang mga tubig sa Meriba. Dinhi gibasol sa katawhan sa Israel ang Ginoo ug dinhi usab gipakita niya nga siya balaan.
Ang Hari sa Edomea Nagdumili sa Pagpaagi sa mga Israelita
14 Nagsugo si Moises ug mga tawo gikan sa Cades ngadto sa hari sa Edomea aron pagsulti sa hari, “Kini mao ang giingon sa inyong mga igsoon, ang mga banay sa Israel: Ikaw nasayod sa tanang katalagman nga miabot kanamo. 15 Nasayod ka nga ang among mga ginikanan miadto sa Ehipto ug mipuyo kamig dugay didto apan gidaugdaog kami sa mga Ehiptohanon.
16 Busa nagpakitabang kami sa Ginoo ug gipatalinghogan niya kami. Gipadad-an kami niyag usa ka anghel nga maoy mikuha kanamo gikan sa Ehipto. Karon ania kami sa Cades, usa ka siyudad sa utlanan sa imong yuta.
17 Tugoti kami karon sa paglatas sa imong yuta. Dili namo agian ang inyong mga uma o parasan o mokuhag tubig sa inyong mga atabay. Maoy among agian ang Dalan sa Hari ug dili kami magtipastipas.”
18 Apan mitubag ang hari sa Edomea, “Ayaw kamo pag-agi aron dili kamo mahiagom sa akong espada.”
19 Ug mitubag ang katawhan sa Israel, “Mosubay kami sa dakong dalan. Ug kon kami ug ang among kahayopan makainom sa inyong tubig, bayran ka namo; paagia lamang kami.”
20 Apan miingon ang hari sa Edomea, “Dili kana mahimo.” Ug unya ang mga taga-Edomea nagtigom aron sa pagpakig-away kanila.
21 Ug kay wala man nila sila paagia nangitag laing agianan ang mga Israelita.
Namatay si Aaron
22 Ug mibaktas sila gikan sa Cades ug ang katawhan sa Israel miabot sa Bukid sa Hor.
23 Ug didto sa Bukid sa Hor, dapit sa utlanan sa Edomea, giingnan sa Ginoo si Moises ug si Aaron,
24 “Mamatay dinhi si Aaron ug dili siya makasulod sa yuta nga gihatag ko sa katawhan sa Israel kay nagmasupilon man kamong duha sa akong sugo didto sa tubig sa Meriba.
25 Dad-a si Aaron ug ang iyang anak nga si Eleazar ngadto sa Bukid sa Hor.
26 Hukasi si Aaron sa iyang bisti sa pagkapari ug isul-ob kini kang Eleazar nga iyang anak. Didto mamatay si Aaron.”
27 Gibuhat ni Moises ang sugo kaniya sa Ginoo ug mitungas sila sa Bukid sa Hor atubangan sa tanang katawhan.
28 Ug gihukasan ni Moises si Aaron sa iyang bisti sa pagkapari ug gisul-ob niya kini kang Eleazar. Ug namatay si Aaron didto sa tumoy sa bukid. Unya nanglugsong si Moises ug si Eleazar.
29 Ug sa pagkasayod niini sa katawhan nga patay na si Aaron, ang tibuok banay sa Israel nagbangotan alang kaniya sulod sa 30 ka adlaw.
